Oregon Commission on Autism Spectrum Disorder created by Governor
Oregon Autism Project
The Autism Spectrum Disorder Workgroup was created as an ad hoc committee by the Chairs of the House Education and Health Care Committees in response to the issues of the rapidly growing population of children and adults identified with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in Oregon. The Workgroup reviewed current services, identified gaps, and developed recommendations. During the Fall of 2008, public forums were conducted statewide to review the Workgroup report and discuss the state of services to individuals with ASD.
